Why Human Conservationist?
A tongue-in-cheek wake-up call, to take better care of the human qualities that matter most, to us and to a world beyond ourselves.
About Gabriella White
Gabriella is a skilled interdisciplinary leader passionate about the arts, design, culture, psychology and individual and organisational learning and transformation. She draws from wide-ranging international experience across education, hospitality, the arts, and corporate worlds to design spaces, services, gatherings and programmes with experiential qualities that encourage deeper connections to ourselves and others.
An anthropologist and art historian by degree, actor by training, and experimental artist (by being), she brings a unique, comprehensive approach to design arts-led programmes and experiences that nurture human skills and creative health.
In her work as a language consultant and speaking coach, Gabriella also provides personalised support in developing speaking and language for more meaningful communication in professional settings and beyond.
At the House of Beautiful Business, the Network for the Life-Centered Economy, Gabriella oversaw strategic development and experience design, blending the creative with the practical to produce transformative learning experiences for clients, partners and the House community of over 50,000 professionals worldwide.
Gabriella has served as a host and facilitator, creative director and executive producer for a variety of leadership development events and experiences globally, for organisations including Deloitte, Volkswagen Group, LinkedIn and Banco Santander, as well as the House of Beautiful Business flagship gatherings (including "Concrete Love", 2021, and "The___Dream", 2023).
Gabriella has also held marketing, development, executive search and mentoring roles at boutique organisations and start-ups between London and Lisbon.
Having moved to Portugal in 2016 to get to know her roots, she often hosts gatherings, workshops and courses locally to the neighbourhood she calls home. In 2024, she founded Improv Art Club, a community series of creative experiences that explore what it means to be human.
